Bariloche Malbec 2021
Flavor Profile
Since 1927, the Schroeder family has braved the elements in Argentina’s Patagonia region. And all the while, they’ve made “wines that master sommeliers should love” (The Wine Advocate). Their latest Malbec is inspired by the family’s other passion...
When the Schroeders built a new winery in 2001, they unearthed 75-million-year-old fossils of a previously undiscovered dinosaur species, later dubbed Panamericansaurus Schroederi after them. Named after the valley where the family’s vineyards lie, Bariloche pays tribute to this discovery and the dinosaurs that once roamed the area. Made from hand-picked Malbec grapes, it brims with vibrant berry and spice notes.
