Baronesa de Vilar White Port NV
Flavor Profile
This golden white Port hails from our (famous) friends, the Van Zeller family. They have been making wine in Portugal’s Douro Valley since 1715, with 15 consecutive generations of producers passing on their knowledge and traditions.
Barão de Vilar is their newest Port house, founded by cousins Cristiano, Fernando and Alvaro Van Zeller to make both fortified and dry wine. Their classic and fragrant white Port is named in honor of their grandmother—the Baroness of Vilar.
With notes of sweet toffee, caramel and a lemon lift, this rare white Port is a great pre-dinner sip and a magical ingredient for cocktails. Pour it over ice, or follow the bottle’s neck tag recipe: blend it with tonic and garnish it with a lemon peel and rosemary.
No matter how you plan to enjoy this delicious white Port, get your order in soon.
