Beyond the label

Nineteenth-century Château Canet is one of the leading domains in southern France’s Minervois region. Its 100+ acres of vines are ringed by olive groves, pine forests and more farmland. While the estate’s surroundings are enchanting, the wines are even more so—especially in 2019, which was a great vintage across France.

Proprietor Floris Lemstra knew his ancient Syrah and Grenache vines had helped him produce something really special. Previous releases have won gold medals galore, and given the quality of the vintage, we expect the new edition to continue the tradition of acclaim. And you get exclusive access (lucky devils).

Partially oak aged, Château Canet is a classic Minervois beauty, offering up mouthwatering black and red raspberry notes with hints of wild herbs and spice. Floris is rightfully proud of his oh-so-smooth handiwork, so he only agreed to send us a limited amount of cases. If you’re looking for a perfect red to serve with hearty stews or juicy, flame-grilled steaks, look no further and Add to Cart today (before everyone else beats you to it).
