Beyond the label

Northern Italy’s Piedmont region produces some of the country’s finest wines. Its prized red grape variety, Nebbiolo, often makes noble red wines that are meant for longterm aging and won’t reach their peak drinking windows for years. If you don’t feel like waiting, we have good news...

Talented winemaker Marco Cossaro has crafted a delicious Nebbiolo that’s meant to be enjoyed straight away. Working alongside the Sartirano family, who have made quality wines in Piedmont since 1871, he selected perfectly ripe grapes from prime-sited vineyards in the Monferrato DOC. Back at the winery—which has been certified sustainable by Equalitas and rated one of Forbes Italia’s “Top 100 Food & Wine Excellences”—Marco went to work.

Cossaro Nebbiolo del Monferrato is fresh, elegant and ready to enjoy. Look forward to delicate violet aromas, with ripe plum and subtle toasty spice notes. Marco recommends serving it alongside truffle risottos or roasted red meats.

As with all our premium Piedmont wines, we expect Cossaro to be in high demand. Hurry for your share.
