Beyond the label

Located about 70 miles inland from California’s storied Napa Valley, the Lodi region has long been a haven of sunny farms. Today, it’s also “one of the top wine regions in the country,” where winemakers “have quietly started producing some of the state’s best wines” (vinepair.com). And you’ll taste the proof in the award-winning, 94-point Sunny Farm Chardonnay.

It was crafted exclusively for you by the renowned Kapiniaris family. Originally from Greece, the family has brought four generations of winemaking expertise with them to California. So, it’s no wonder they chose to set up their boutique estate Stama (below) in Lodi, where brilliant sunshine ripens grapes to perfection and a long growing season gives plenty of time to develop concentration.

The Kapiniaris family chose to leave this Chardonnay unoaked to allow its pure fruit flavors to shine— and it tastes all the better for it. You’re in for layers of Golden Delicious apple, yellow pear and ripe peach aromas and flavors. With a slight creaminess on the palate, the wine is delicious on its own or when served with food (try chicken, seafood or soft cheeses).

This Chardonnay is truly California sunshine in a glass. Order your share today.
