Flavor Profile
Prosecco is the world’s top-selling sparkling wine, and it’s no wonder why—it’s the perfect fizz to make any occasion a party. This fresh pink Prosecco is new to the scene, and it charmed the judges at recent competitions, earning both 90 points and a gold medal.
Take one sip and be transported to the piazze of Italy. Prezza is produced by third-generation winemakers, the renowned Botter family, and this beauty comes from their prime-sited Treviso vineyards. Prosecco is actually named after a tiny village in the northeastern Italian region of Trieste. It was also the name of the grape, at least until 2009 when local wine authorities began mandating the term ‘Glera,’ thus restricting the use of the term ‘Prosecco’ to wines made only in the legally designated region.
This gorgeous sparkler is a vibrant blend of Glera and Pinot Nero. Described by our Italian wine expert, Leonardo Bassano, as “fantastically bright and fruity,” the bubbly features fresh peach, green apple and lemon zest flavors. Enjoy a well-chilled glass of Prezza on its own or with appetizers, such as smoked salmon canapés, silky prosciutto e melone or creamy cheeses. For a main course, enjoy it with roasted turkey, grilled chicken or seafood dishes.
